I am a half- time member of the Educational Development team having taken early retirement in 2000. My particular expertise is in the areas of learning skills development, running professional development workshops, improving the student transition experience and teaching observation. I work with both the Learning and Teaching in HE and the Learning Skills Advisory teams. I am a SEDA Fellow.

I live on the edge of Bodmin Moor with my family and grow christmas trees and fruit in our large garden. I am a governor of Launceston College and an OFSTED secondary science team inspector. I am currently involved in helping to coordinate and facilitate a community development project in South Africa. I have a long history of supporting the Tibetan cause and am the Cornwall representative for Free Tibet.
